Mark Hoppus - Vocals - bass
Travis Barker - Drums
Shane Gallagher - Guitar
Craig Fairbaugh - Guitar - Vocals

+44 is an alternative rock and pop punk band. The band was formed by current Blink-182 members Mark Hoppus (vocals and bass guitar) and Travis Barker(drumspercussion and keyboards), also consisting of former Transplants touring guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and the lead guitarist of The Nervous ReturnShane Gallagher. The band name refers to the international dialing code of the United Kingdom, the country where Hoppus and Barker first discussed the project.

+ 44 History:

Formation (2004-2005)

Originally, +44 was only going to be a side-project of Blink-182 when Hoppus and Barker were talking about it during the Europe tour in late 2004, when they noted that Tom DeLonge was acting more and more distant and was becoming less interested in Blink-182. However, the events that followed in February 2005 caused +44 to become Mark and Travis' main focus rather than a side-project. The project consisted of elements not usually present in Blink-182's work, namely electronic drums, keyboards, and direct computer recordings. Barker later stated that the electronic element of the band was derived from "155", the first song he and Hoppus wrote as a band.

As work continued on the demos, Get the Girl vocalist Carol Heller was invited by Hoppus and Barker to audition her vocals. Heller's performance was agreeable enough to the band and as a result the three kept working on more songs together. The band's lineup changed again early 2006, with the addition of guitarist Shane Gallagher.

In order to progress with their demos, Barker and Hoppus acquired a studio, a move which marked a "turning point for +44."  The band began working solely in the studio they had purchased, playing live drums, guitars and vocals.

The band's sound had started with an electronic element which became less evident, but still remained a key feature. As a result, Heller found she wasn't compatible with the band's direction, and with the addition of her wish to start a family, she left the band. The vocal work that Heller contributed is still present in the songs "Make You Smile", "Weatherman", and the early mix of "No, It Isn't". After this, Hoppus, Barker, and Gallagher were left to find a new backing vocalist. Guitarist Craig Fairbaugh ofMercy Killers then joined the band.

When Your Heart Stops Beating
 (2006-2007)

As the projected release date started to draw in, speculation on the title of the band's debut album began to circulate. At first, it was believed that the album would be called Little Death as it was listed as such in AP magazine. This was later revealed to be one of the tracks of the album. Hoppus finally settled on When Your Heart Stops Beating. The song "Lycanthrope" was released on the +44 website in early September 2006. This was only the second song that fans had heard other than "No, It Isn't".

Later in September KROQ-FM played the title track of the forthcoming album. The band played their first show on September 7, 2006 at The Roxy Theatre in Hollywood; Hoppus stated it was the first show he had performed in two years. The band followed this up by their second show and first ever UK performance at the London Astoria venue. Both shows were met with very encouraging reactions from fans, considering that at that time, only one completely recorded and mastered song, "When Your Heart Stops Beating" had been heard.

The album was released on November 14, 2006 in North America, November 13, 2006 in Europe, and November 11, 2006 in Australia.

During the shooting of the video for "When Your Heart Stops Beating", Travis Barker injured his arm, which was discovered weeks later after playing a whole European promo tour. This forced him to cancel drumming in the upcoming Australia and Europe tours. Gil Sharone filled in for him in these tours.

+44 then covered The Smashing Pumpkins' song "I Am One" for a MySpace tribute to the band and also participated in the iTunes Foreign Exchange. For this they covered Wir sind Helden's song "Guten Tag" with an English translation and Wir sind Helden covered "When Your Heart Stops Beating" in a German translation, entitled "Wenn Dein Herz zu Schlagen Aufhört".

In 2007, +44 set off on the Honda Civic Tour along with Fall Out BoyThe Academy Is...Paul Wall, and Cobra Starship. During the tour they filmed themselves playing for the music video of their upcoming single "155". On this tour, Victoria Asher from Cobra Starship performed vocals on "Make You Smile", and the band began covering "Dammit," "The Rock Show" and "What's My Age Again?" by Blink-182.

Second studio album (2007-present)

The first mention of +44 pulling out of their European festival and show appearances was on August 6, 2007. The music website NME then released on August 8 with the official reason of studio commitments for their sophomore album. On October 23, 2007, Hoppus stated that +44 had officially signed a deal with Interscope to start recording the new record. On April 9, Hoppus stated that the delay of the second studio album was due to the lack of funding by the label. On May 25, he also stated that the new +44 album was still in pre-production.

On July 30, 2008, Metromix interviewed Barker where he explained about his solo record. When asked about +44, he stated:

"We're going to be a lot more proactive about it after I get my record finished and Mark [Hoppus] finishes producing the two records he's doing this year."

On September 19, 2008, Travis Barker was injured in a plane crash in Columbia, South Carolina. Barker, according to doctors, is expected to make a full recovery within a year.

In an interview with MTV on January 19, 2009, Hoppus stated that he was working on songs for a solo album, with ten songs in various stages of completion. During the interview he neither confirmed nor denied +44 were finished. On February 8, it was announced that Hoppus and Barker's former band,Blink-182, had reunited.

The Offspring is an American rock band. They began in 1984 in Huntington Beach, California. The band is credited, along with fellowCalifornia punk bands Green Day and Rancid, with reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States during the mid-1990s. To date, The Offspring have released eight studio albums, one compilation, four EPs and three DVDs. They have sold over 40 million albums worldwide, making them the best-selling punk act of all time.

Since its formation, The Offspring's line-up has included Dexter Holland (lead vocals, guitar), Noodles (lead and rhythm guitars, backing vocals) and Greg K. (bass, backing vocals). Their current drummer is Pete Parada, formerly of Face to Face and Saves the Day, who has been with the band since 2007.

Since the release of their 1994 album Smash, the best-selling independent label album of all time, The Offspring have achieved commercial success over five albums, with singles such as "Come Out and Play", and "Self Esteem". The band's next three albums, Ixnay on the HombreAmericana and Conspiracy of One, were also successful, with Ixnay on the Hombre and Conspiracy of One reaching platinum certification, and Americana achieving multi-platinum status. Longtime drummer Ron Welty left The Offspring in early 2003, and was replaced by Atom Willard. Later that year, the band released their next album, Splinter, to moderate sales and fairly warm reviews. In 2005, The Offspring released a greatest hits album and toured in support of the compilation. Their most recent studio album, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, was released on June 17, 2008.

The Offspring: Pretty Fly (for A white Guy)

The Offspring History:

1984: Orange County high school classmates Dexter Holland and Greg Kriesel are inspired to form a band after an Irvine concert by local punk-rock heroes Social Distortion. With Holland the vocalist, Kriesel takes to the bass.

1985: School custodian Noodles joins up, allegedly for his ability to legally procure alcohol for the underage trio. The threesome practice in Kriesel‘s parents‘ house and play their first shows in Santa Cruz and San Francisco.

1986: The band, originally called Manic Subsidal, changes its name to The Offspring. They press up 1,000 copies of the debut vinyl single, “I‘ll Be Waiting“ b/w “Blackball,” on their own Black Label. The band pioneers its DIY method by glueing the sleeves together at Kriesel‘s house.

Sixteen-year-old Ron Welty becomes the fourth member of The Offspring after the original drummer leaves to devote more time to school.

1989: Band signs to independent label Nemesis/Cargo. With punk producer Thom Wilson (T.S.O.L., The Vandals and Dead Kennedys), they release The Offspring, their debut album, which sells 3,000 vinyl copies.

1991: The band put out a 7“ EP, Baghdad (Nemesis/Cargo) and records “Take It Like a Man” for a Flipside magazine compilation, The Big One, produced by Epitaph Records owner (and Bad Religion guitarist) Brett Gurewitz.

1992: The band signs to Epitaph and record their second album, Ignition. After a record release party in Fullerton, CA draws 25 diehard fans, the album goes on to sell more than 1 million albums worldwide.

1993-'94: The band tours the U.S. once with Lunachicks and next with Pennywise.

1994: Smash, their second album for Epitaph, is released. Featuring the mega-hits “Come Out and Play (Keep ‘Em Separated),“ “Self Esteem‘ and “Gotta Get Away,“ the album is a phenomenon. The disc sells more than 11 million copies worldwide, the most ever for a band on an indie label, after “Come Out and Play” becomes a gigantic MTV hit. The album peaks at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

1995: Dexter and Greg start Nitro Records. The Huntington Beach-based label forms a roster that includes such California stalwarts as the Vandals, AFI, Guttermouth and others. Nitro also reissues the band‘s self-titled debut on CD for the first time. The Offspring‘s cover of the Damned‘s “Smash It Up” is featured on the best-selling Batman Forever soundtrack.

1997: The Offspring sign with Columbia Records, and release the Dave Jerden-produced Ixnay on the Hombre in February. The album sells more than 3 million worldwide and peaks at #9 on the Billboard 200, with singles “All I Want,“ “Gone Away,“ and “I Choose“ all hitting the Modern Rock charts. Spin raved: “Punk-rock zealots can take their rage to the grave, but what this band cares about beyond everything else is what zealots can abide least: songs.“ The L.A. Times praised the album as “richly varied and thoroughly smart.. a mature, sometimes daring and always enticing effort by a band that constantly offers far more than meets the ear.“ Jello Biafra makes a cameo appearance on Ixnay and joins the band on-stage to perform version of Dead Kennedy classics “Chemical Warfare“ and “Holiday in Cambodia.”

1998: An MP3 file of “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy),“ from the band‘s yet-to-be-released Americana album is downloaded a record 22 million times over a 10-week period, landing it the #1 spot on Rolling Stone‘s Top Pirated Internet Songs chart. When Americana is released in November, worldwide sales climb past the 10 million mark, thanks to the catchy single and MTV video. Other singles include “Why Don‘t You Get a Job?,“ “The Kids Aren‘t Alright“ and “She‘s Got Issues.“ The band‘s touring schedule takes them to Woodstock ‘99 for an acclaimed performance captured on film and the 1999 Reading/Leads Festivals in the U.K. “We love what we do,“ says Holland. “We want to make the best music we can and try to top what we did before.”

1999: The group follows its tour of the U.S. with shows in Australia and Japan. The Offspring makes a cameo appearance in the cult horror/comedy Idle Hands, playing a cover of the Ramones‘ “I Wanna Be Sedated“ and “Beheaded” from their self-titled debut before Dexter is killed after speaking his one line.

2000: The group is hit with a cease-and-desist order from file-sharing service Napster after offering T-shirts sporting the company‘s famed logo for sale on the band‘s website. The band defends its actions, claiming they were simply “sharing“ the logo with fans.

The band spawns more controversy when they decide to offer their new album Conspiracy Of One free of charge via the Internet prior to its initial November release date. Fans downloading the record were automatically registered in a contest to be awarded $1,000,000 directly from the band (live on MTV) on the day of the album‘s release. Fans who go on to buy the record are awarded membership in the Offspring Nation digital fan club, receiving exclusive downloads of unreleased material, advance ticket sales, guarded chats with the band and more. Sony Music doesn‘t agree and threatens a lawsuit. The band avoids the lawsuit by making individual singles available on their official website and MTV Online. “The reality is this album will end up on the Internet whether we want it to or not,“ Holland tells the L.A. Times. “So we thought, ‘Why don‘t we just do it ourselves?‘ We‘re not afraid of the Internet. We think it‘s a very cool way to reach our fans.”

2001: The Offspring headline KROQ‘s Inland Invasion at Blockbuster Pavilion in Devore with Incubus, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Pennywise, Social Distortion, Weezer, Mike D and Mixmaster Mike on July 18. In December, the band record “Defy You” with Brendan O‘Brien for the soundtrack to Orange County, starring Colin Hanks and Jack Black. Dave Meyers directs the video.

2002: In March, The Offspring play the Las Vegas premiere of Tony Hawk‘s Boom Boom Huck Jam, with an array of action sports champions like Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Dave Mirra, Mat Hoffman and Carey Hart, then go on for four more dates that fall. In July, they play a benefit concert with T.S.O.L. at the Anaheim House of Blues for They Will Surf Again and Life Rolls On, not-for-profit organizations formed by professional surfers dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injuries. In September, they open the Kerrang! Awards in London before being presented with the Classic Songwriter award by Garbage‘s Shirley Manson. Said the venerable metal mag: “They have influenced and continue to influence new generations of K!-heads. Tonight‘s award nails not only The Offspring‘s glorious past, but their ongoing relevance.”

2003: The Offspring cover the Ramones’ “I Wanna Be Sedated,” which they first did for the film Idle Hands, on the tribute album We’re a Happy Family (Columbia), joining Metallica, Eddie Vedder, Marilyn Manson and KISS and among others.

The band lay down demos for the new album at Holland’s D-13 studios in his native Huntington Beach, then continue recording with producer Brendan O’Brien in Atlanta at Southern Tracks Recording and Henson Recording Studios in L.A. Drummer Ron Welty leaves the band. Former Vandals and A Perfect Circle drummer Josh Freese takes over duties for the recording process. The group is also joined in the studio by two old-school SoCal punk pals, Pennywise’s Jim Lindberg and T.S.O.L.’s Jack Grisham, who takes time off from his campaign for Governor of California to lay down some background vocals.

Holland announces the record will be called Chinese Democracy as an obvious tweak to Axl Rose, who had previously announced that was the title to the new Guns N Roses album he’s been working on for much of the past decade. “It was so damn funny,” says Dexter. “We felt like we had to do it. The idea of stealing the title of an album someone else has been working on for so long was very funny to us. You snooze, you lose. Axl ripped off my braids, so I ripped off his album title.“ But ultimately, the band announced on their website that the decision to title the album Chinese Democracy had somehow caused production to come to a halt. “That album title jinxed us,“ said Dexter.

The band visit Hawaii, where they film a surfing video with Da Hui, a notorious gang of native islanders who welcome them to their North Shore turf. The footage will appear as extra footage on their upcoming CD.

In October, they bring in drummer Atom Willard, who was in Rocket From the Crypt for 10 years as well as playing with Moth and the Alkaline Trio. The group decide to name the new album Splinter and the first single “Hit That“ debuts at radio. Combining live action with computer-generated images (and no band members), the unique video for “Hit That” directed by John Williams and David Lea soon premieres.

The band fly to Europe for secret club shows in London, Berlin and Paris and return to the US for more shows before Splinter‘s release on December 9.

2004: The Offspring begin the year with performances on Top Of The Pops in the UK and then at ESPN‘s Winter X-Games in Aspen, Colorado. A video is shot for the single “(Can‘t Get My“) Head Around You“ using 125+ cameras from just as many angles to create “the ultimate performance video.”

n February, the Splinter World Tour kicks off in full force in Europe followed by 2 legs of dates in the US, then Australia, Japan & Asia, back to Europe, South Africa (for the first time ever), South America and finally the band wraps up the tour headlining the Holiday Havoc festival in Anaheim, California on November 14. 97 shows, 22 countries, 161,682 miles and many an empty beer bottle.

The Rock Against Bush compilation, featuring The Offspring‘s “Baghdad” is released in May.

A longtime dream of his as a pilot, Dexter celebrates the end of the tour with a 9 day solo flight around the entire globe.

2005: The Offspring begins the year working on new songs, old songs and covers with producer Jerry Finn, including “Can‘t Repeat“ a new track and single for the soon upcoming Greatest Hits album.

Los Angeles radio station KROQ offers a flight on Dexter‘s jet as part of their South Asian Tsunami benefit auction. In March, Dexter takes the winners up over Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon before buzzing their house.

In April, the band heads to Alcatraz Island in San Francisco for a photo shoot in advance of the Greatest Hits release. Soon after, they visit a Los Angeles soundstage to shoot the video for “Can‘t Repeat.“

Epitaph releases Punk-O-Rama Vol. 10 June 7 including The Offspring‘s “Mission From God.“

The Offspring headline the Dew Action Sports Tour stop on June 11 in Louisville, Kentucky before heading out on their first summer aboard the Vans Warped Tour.

The Greatest Hits collection hits stores in North America on June 21. The collection features all of the band‘s major hits plus “Can‘t Repeat.” Greatest Hits is released in both DualDisc and standard CD configurations. The DualDisc version featured the entire album on the audio-only side while the DVD side includes the full album in 5.1 stereo; a chat with Dexter and Noodles about the band‘s history and the stories behind the songs; and an exclusive in-the-studio acoustic performance of “Dirty Magic.“

A few weeks later, The Offspring‘s Complete Music Video Collection is released on DVD. The 2–1/2 hour DVD showcases all of the band‘s videos including the band-produced video rarities “Da Hui“ and “Cool To Hate“ Further bonus features on the DVD include 5.1 surround sound; audio commentary on the videos from Dexter Holland and Noodles; a selection of live television performances; and “Guy Cohen: Where Is He Now?,“ Dexter‘s penetrating interview with the actor from “Pretty Fly (For A White Guy).”

Capping off 46 Warped Tour dates, The Offspring play a benefit show at the famed New York City club C.B.G.B.‘s to aid in the club‘s efforts to resolve their lease issues and remain in their historic location. The show rocks, C.B.s gets kicked out anyway.

n September, the band head to Europe for a string of dates followed by a quick tour of Japan in October. The band return to the U.S. to find radio stations playing their cover of “Next To You,” originally by The Police and an unlisted final track on the US version of Greatest Hits album. The stations picked up on the song from Offspring fans calling and requesting it.

The Offspring headline the closing-night concert at the BlizzCon computer/video game festival in Anaheim, CA.

Goldfinger is a Los Angeles pop punk/ska punk band that formed in 1994. They support the imprisoned 'SHAC 7animal rights activists, and John Feldmann, lead singer, is an advocate for and supporter of the Animal Liberation Front.

Gold Finger : 99 Red Balloons

Gold Finger History:

Goldfinger was formed by John Feldmann on vocals and guitar, Simon Williams on bass, Darrin Pfeiffer on drums, and Charlie Paulson on guitar. Before they were signed to a major label, they released an EP titled Richter. Many of the songs on Richter are demo versions of songs on their full length debut, Goldfinger, which was released in 1996. Though their second album, Hang-Ups, was less successful, the band still maintained a devoted fan base in the hardcore community. Their third studio LP was Stomping Ground, which sold poorly in the US but was a modest hit in some European countries, thanks to their cover of Nena's "99 Luftballons" sung partly in German. Their next album,Open Your Eyes (2002), was the first for their new record label, Jive/Zomba.

Frontman John Feldmann has produced records for MestThe Used (whose vocalist Bert McCracken sang some guest vocals on 'Open Your Eyes', 'Woodchuck', 'Ocean Size', and 'Handjobs for Jesus'), Hilary Duff and Story of the Year. He also produced Good Charlotte's single "The Anthem" (whose guitarist Benji Madden provides guest vocals on 'January', which was originally named "Oracle of Elcaro"). He also signed the band Unloco with Maverick Records.

Since the band began, Feldmann has become a vegan and animal rights supporter, as can be seen briefly in the music video for "Open Your Eyes". They also donated the song "What Gives You The Right" to the Southern Animal Rights Coalition benefit CD, "Until Every Cage Is Empty", as well as writing the song "Free Kevin Kjonaas", an animal rights prisoner, known as the most involved individual in the SHAC 7 case. He also advocates and supports the Animal Liberation Front.

In early 2005, they released their first album for their new label, Maverick Records, titled "Disconnection Notice". It featured the single "Wasted". The CD was less well received compared to former Goldfinger albums. Former band members include founding bassist Simon Williams, who left the band following Hang-Ups, and former Unloco guitarist Brian Arthur, who was fired by Feldmann because Feldmann "did not want to work with him anymore".

"99 Red Balloons" also featured in Not Another Teen Movie along with Eurotrip and the video game Gran Turismo 3, and their cover of The Spiral Starecase's "More Today Than Yesterday" plays during the ending credits of The Waterboy. "Superman" was also featured in the comedy Kingpin and the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game. "Walking in the Dark" was featured in the movie "Dead Man on Campus".

Goldfinger covered the hit Duran Duran song Rio as a tribute to the band but ironically the middle of the song turns into a Dio-like song and then changing the last chorus to Ronnie James Dio rather than Rio.

Goldfinger's song "I Want" from Disconnection Notice is featured in Burnout Revenge on the Playstation 2Xbox, and Xbox 360, and is also featured in Burnout Legends on the PSP."My Everything" is featured on "SSX On Tour" also by EA games. The single, Spokesman, is featured on Activision's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4.Goldfinger also appeared in the Reel Big Fish video "Sell Out" for a brief couple of seconds.

2006 saw Alternative Press Magazine list the self titled Goldfinger CD as one of the "10 albums that shaped 1996" alongside No DoubtWeezer and others.

In 2005 Goldfinger announced that their old guitarist Charlie Paulson would return. Charlie's return to the band was on stage playing 3 songs at the Key Club in LA when the band finished a Western USA tour. Goldfinger signed to the independent record label Side One Dummy in 2007 and their new record is called Hello Destiny and was released on April 222008

Goldfinger has just finished a successful North American tour with Less Than Jake in summer of 2008.

Goldfinger also played in the UK at the Reading and Leeds festivals on the 22nd and 23rd of August 2008.

Millencolin is a punk rock band that was formed in October of 1992 by Erik OhlssonMathias Färm and Nikola Sarcevic in Örebro,Sweden. In early 1993, drummer Fredrik Larzon joined the band. The name Millencolin is derived from the skateboard trick "melancholy".

Millencolin : Fox

Millencolin History:

The original lineup, consisting of Sarcevic (vocals & bass), Ohlsson (guitar), and Färm (drums), released their first demo tapeGoofy, in early 1993. Soon afterwards, Larzon joined the band to play drums, allowing Färm to perform as the second guitarist. In the summer of 1993, they recorded a second demo tape, Melack. The band sent the tape to Burning Heart Records, a new record label formed earlier that year. They signed Millencolin to do a CD single, which culminated in the release of Use Your Nose in November 1993. Success of the single prompted Burning Heart to sign the band to release a full album. In July 1994, the band releasedSkauch, initially planned to be a single for their new album. However, the band decided to record four cover songs as well and released it as an EP instead. They put out their first major release, Tiny Tunes, in 1994. The recording and mixing of the album took two weeks. Legal trouble with Warner Brothers over the title and cover artwork of the album led the band to re-release it in 1996 under the name Same Old Tunes.

Millencolin continued to tour and in 1995 brought out their second full length album Life on a Plate. This coincided with Millencolin beginning to tour outside of Scandinavia. At the end of 1995, the US record company Epitaph wanted to release Life on a Plate in the US, and the band agreed. They then toured further afield, touring JapanAustraliaBrazil and Canada, and played as part of the 1997 Warped Tour.

Further albums For Monkeys and compilation The Melancholy Collection followed, but the band's popularity really increased in 2000 with the release of the Brett Gurewitz producedPennybridge Pioneers, an album with more of a rock influence than the band's previous Skate punk sound. The recording took six weeks and they started their first major worldwide tour; "Pennybridge Pioneers Worldwide Tour". They also allowed the song "No Cigar" to be featured on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 video game. Millencolin played in Wellington, New Zealand, followed by an Australian tour. This led to an early release of the album in Australia and New Zealand. Millencolin wrote on tour and brought out Home From Home in 2002. The hit "Kemp" brought success. While it was not as well received as the previous effort, songs like "Happiness for Dogs" and "Afghan" showed a stronger and rockier sound which would greatly influence their next album Kingwood. In 2003 the band won the award for Best Swedish Rock.

Kingwood, released in March 2005, marked the band's return to a faster and more traditional punk rock sound, collaborating it with their recently founded rock sound, and completed a world tour in follow up of the album. The album debuted at #2 in the Swedish chart.

In mid 2007, lead guitarist Erik Ohlsson announced plans for a new full-length album, a follow up to their DVD Hi-8 Adventures and a new website, amongst other things.

On October 222007 the band entered the studio to start writing and recording songs for their seventh album Machine 15

The band has hosted a skateboard contest at their own skatepark in Örebro, Sweden named the Millencolin Open. They say they started this annual contest because skateboarding is what brought them together and now they have the chance to make something good of their town and of skateboarding.

Sarcevic is currently promoting his second solo release Roll Roll and Flee, and Färm is currently promoting his new band Franky Lee.

In addition they will be playing a few festival dates across Europe, starting the August 26 and ending with the Fear & Fury festival in Bochum in early September.

Their new album is entitled Machine 15 was released on April 72008. One of the songs from Machine 15, called "Brand New Game", is available to listen to on their website. The entire new album can be previewed on their MySpace profile. The video for their first single "Detox" has since been released and can be seen at their myspace profile.
